Do I have to pay a deposit when I register?
What if a camp session is cancelled due to COVID-19?
Families will be refunded in full for camp sessions cancelled due to COVID-19.
How will Camp Eitan Breakaway protect campers and staff from COVID-19?
1. CEB's 11,000+ square foot Castefield location is ideal for social distancing and can accommodate separate independent cohorts. Furthermore, outdoor tents will be available nearby if it is necessary to move activities outdoors.
2. Families will have the option to register in cohorts to reduce contact with other bubbles.
3. Campers and staff will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms at arrival daily, face masks and social distancing will be required wherever possible and there will be easy and frequent access to hand washing stations throughout the day.
Will there there be a kosher hot lunch option?
Yes. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
Will there be swim, water play and field trips?
Camp Eitan Breakaway will continue to monitor all government and public health recommendations regarding swim, water play and field trips before making any decisions.
Will bus transportation be provided?
Yes. Sam, previously of T. Eid's Transportation Inc., has opened a new bus company, Luna Bella Transportation Inc., and he will continue to drive exclusively for Camp Eitan Breakaway in 2021.
Are staff trained in first aid and CPR?
For activities like biking and guitar, are the bicycles and guitars provided?
Guitars are provided but campers must use their own bicycles. The camp will help to transport camper bicycles to and from camp daily or to safely store camper bicycles overnight at camp.
Will there be davening and learning?
Are campers allowed to bring food items to camp that contain or may contain nuts and sesame?
NO. Camp Eitan Breakaway is a peanut, tree nut and sesame free camp.
